Non Cycling Genes

Though the main function of fkh1 and fkh2 is in regulating the cell cycle, they are also involved in other functions including growth and cell morphology. We have used our algorithm to identify differentially expressed genes in the set of 5000 genes that are not cell cycle regulated. Our algorithm identified 22 of these genes as significantly changing in the knockout data. Below we provide links to figures that compare the expression profiles of these genes under WT and knockouta experiments.

In the following figures the p-value appears on the top left side and the gene (or orf) name appears on the top right side of the figure. The blue curve represents the expression of the gene in the wild type experiment, and the red curve represents the expression in the knockout experiment.

  • Figures for the 16 genes that were the most significantly changed.
  • Figures for the next 6 genes (17-22).
