Data Sources.
Our algorithm uses genomic expression and
transcription factor protein-DNA binding data sources to
discover abstractions that we call modules. The expression
data was collected from over 500 yeast expression experiments
that are publicly available. You can find an excel sheet that describes the
500+ expression experiments results that we have used
here. As for binding data, we have
used a collection of
106 protein-DNA binding experiments. This data is publicly
available from
The Young Lab Database. We have also generated a new binding dataset for
14 transcription factors under rapamycin. This data is available from
here.
