CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

Five years of creative exploration. Now in our fifth year since Adleman's seminal paper, we have seen an amazing growth of knowledge about how to compute with DNA. This field presents us with an unprecedented mandate: to engineer information processing systems that operate on individual molecules. We now have a wealth of theoretical models and steadily accumulating laboratory experience, and an equal wealth of challenges to confront.

This year's meeting, in an intense two days, will focus on the very best experimental and theoretical results, and aims to take stock of accomplishments, identify fundamental questions, and enrich interaction with related fields.

Papers and poster presentations are sought in all areas that relate to computing with DNA including (but not limited to): algorithms and applications, analysis of laboratory techniques, error correction, sequence design and simulation software, useful DNA chemistry and motifs, computation by molecules other than DNA, computational processes in vivo, and fundamental limits to computation. We particularly encourage papers reporting experimental results.

Please note that because of the compressed two-day format, there will be fewer papers presented as talks than in previous years. We encourage and will emphasize the poster sessions for communication of progress in theoretical and experimental research. Both papers accepted as talks and papers accepted as posters will be included in the conference proceedings.
