Welcome to the Programming Systems Research Group's homepage. PSRG has a long history of innovative research as part of the Laboratory for Computer Science at MIT. Founded in 1982, the group has worked on problems relating to programming language development, concurrent garbage collection, information discovery, retrieval, and distribution, and algebraic and computational video. Recently, the group has been investigating novel approaches to computation using biological substrates.
